Donate Now

The Potter’s Village is HuCASDEVI selected orphanage for this year to receive the one year support that the charity gives to its selected orphanage or foster home. HuCASDEVI visited the orphanage in January to finalise its feasibility studies and made our next visit to commence our support known to the orphanage. By God’s grace the charity visited the orphanage on Saturday and Monday, February 18 and 20, 2017 respectively to make donation to the orphanage.

On Saturday a team from HuCASDEVI including the Executive Director Mr. Kwadwo Konadu and a board member Godslove Maame B Akowuah and Jane of Mantrac UK visited the orphanage to make donation to the orphanage to commence HuCASDEVI one year support. With team was our amazing Chief Driver Prince Asamoah, Technical guy Stephen Kwao and hardworking Project Officer Ezekiel Doku. The team met first with the Founder and President of Potter’s Village, Mama Jane to discuss the challenges of the orphanage and the way forward. The donation which included teaching and learning materials, food items, sanitary products, toys, bags, shoes and other needed items were donated to the orphanage.

The team from the orphanage then headed to the new site for the orphanage where they are putting up structures to accommodate the orphans, abused kids as well as staff for the orphanage. The structure also includes a clinic to serve both the children and the community.
HuCASDEVI with support of Premium Bank, one of the fast growing banks in Ghana with dedicated services tailored to meet the needs of clients supported the building project with one trip of sand and gravels aside the donation to the orphanage which was also supported by Premium Bank (formerly City Investment Company).

On Monday, February 20, 2017, HuCASDEVI Executive Director visited the orphanage to present the cheque for the payment of the sand and gravels that were delivered on the same day. He also assisted in serving the students/orphans during their lunch.
