By God’s the Christmas Party and Donation to the orphans at The Potter’s Village in Dodowa came off and was amazing. Children and adults at the event were treated to variety of foods, drinks, gospel tunes and games. The Christmas cake from Emelia Lartey was designed to fit the occasion and it was cut by Kwadwo Konadu, Maame B Akowuah, Jane Adu, Vanessa Lewis, Auntie Adeko and others. These kids had the blast of their lives as precious time was spent with them from people who have been attracted by the good things Hucasdevi Ghana has been doing.
Workers from Mantrac Ghana, Cal Bank, Premium Bank, Guinness Ghana Ltd, Obonu Radio and others joined the train to party with us. After the popping of Champaign items worth over Gh7000 were donated the Potter’s Village in Dodowa together with a cash amount of Ghs1500.
Receiving the items and money donated by Hucasdevi Ghana, Mrs Jane Adu the founder and President of the Potter’s Village expressed her gratitude towards the overwhelming support from Hucasdevi that has made it possible for them to continue their building project and pay artisans working on the building. She called on other organisations to emulate the good gesture exhibited by Hucasdevi Ghana to put smiles on the faces of the vulnerable and needy.
Speaking on behalf of Hucasdevi Ghana, Mr. Kwadwo Konadu promised to get the remaining 200 pieces of iron rods needed to complete the building project in less than two weeks to ensure the orphanage moves to their own structure. He used to the occasion to also thank all supporters who through various means have supported Hucasdevi Ghana to touch lives positively. He also called on others to join and support good causes not only during the festive seasons but before, during and after
